The Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) opens the Sining Likha, Kwento ng Pag-Asa Poster Making Contest for Filipino children and youth, ages 12-21 years old, currently under the care of Bahay Pag-Asa (BPA), Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY), and other youth care facilities. This activity is part of the 11th Juvenile Justice and Welfare Consciousness Week (JJWeek) nationwide celebration on November 20-26, 2022.
The contest aims to create an avenue for children to get their creative juices in action and express their views on the impact of the Juvenile Justice Law in their lives. Further, this also intends to showcase and recognize their talents and enhance awareness of the public on the positive outcomes of the law.
Sining Likha, Kwento ng Pag-Asa is centered on the 11th JJWeek theme “Pagbabago ay Panigurado Kung Tututukan Natin ang Juvenile Justice Law”.
It has two categories: Hand-Drawn or Handmade – created free of any or not using any digital equipment, and Digitized – created using the aid of any mixed media suitable for reproduction of poster, including computer-generated graphics.

Submission of entries will be from October 5 to 31, 2022 via email at acd.jjwc.@gmail.com with the email subject 11th JJWeek Poster Making Competition_Complete Name of the Participant_Title of the Entry.
All entries will be judged based on Relevance to the theme – 35%, Creativity – 35%, Uniqueness and Originality – 20%, and Description of the Poster – 10%.
Three winners and one winner of the Audience Choice Award will be selected per category. The first place will receive P10,000.00, the second place is P7,000.00, the third place is P5,000.00, and the Audience choice is P2,000.00.
Awarding of winners will be on November 25, 2022, during the 11th JJWeek Culminating Event in Manila.
